Robert Cherry and Carla Cherry are Reaper On Red. Together they create dark psychedelic post-punk inspired by minimalist art, occult mythologies and dystopian science fiction (a.k.a. current affairs).
“Imagine if John Carpenter and Moe Tucker joined Sisters of Mercy and you’re nearly there,” Electronic Sound wrote of their 2022 debut album, The Zodiac Lights.
The duo’s second album, Doom Daze, is out now. “Referencing the past’s most incredible musical moments and using them to create a brilliant sound for the future, Doom Daze is both sonically clever and brilliantly relevant, timely and timeless,” wrote The Big Takeover.
